The purpose of my campaign of my campaign is to promote Be Here Now and to erase the uncertainty people have on this album. The purpose is to also inform the target audience of the success this album had.
On it's first day of release, the album had sold over 420,000 copies, this made it the fastest selling album in British chart history. Overall in its first year of release, it sold around 1.47 million copies nationwide. This made it the fastest selling UK album.
I edited and prepared the used images on photoshop. To edit the images, and crop out the background of the image i used the magnetic lasso tool. I used that in the above photo, here it is in practice as i crop out the background of the photo.
My campaign would begin in March/April. I have identified this as the perfect time to start the campaign because both Noel and Liam will be touring through these months, and many of the songs off these albums will be included in their tours. Also, i believe that the novelty of their albums may have worn off by this time, so people may revert back to listening to Oasis songs. With this i wanted to reach out to Oasis followers and make them consider this album.

For my magazine draft, i asked a friend what he thought of my plans. As it says above, he believed that different colors and fonts were needed. Also, the feedback states the background needs changing to give it a more vibrant feel, and so people can relate to it.

The draft of my magazine is the above image.
The image above is what was used in the magazine draft
I believe the platforms I will use for my campaign will be a magazine cover, an online website and a twitter account. I believe using a magazine will catch peoples eyes with bright, catchy colours and specific fonts. I believe that the use of a magazine would soar with readers because they're highly accessible to anyone. This is because magazines are available in print and in digital format. With an online website, again this is highly accessible to those with internet access. With an internet website, it would be viewable by typing in the album name as a website would pop up with the campaign. I believe this is positive as those who will want to look into the campaign will be able to do so online. I created a twitter account as it a vastly popular form of social media, with around 974 million users worldwide. I don't believe that the whole 974 million users will be educated on the album, however I believe around 5% of that total will be and will have heard the album. Therefore, people will find this campaign and be able to get involved and support it.
